Dad and Jill, Engagement Photos… Round 2

Posted in Uncategorized on June 6, 2008 by Liz

After only getting one good shot out of 35 last time, I decided to go out with them today to see if we couldn’t get a better selection for their invitations.  The reason behind the second session is because my grandmother decided that she HAD to see my father’s face.  Oh well, right?  It was a good day to spend taking photos and hanging out with my family.  Take a look:

While driving home this morning from yet another annoying night at work, I had the chance to capture these two photos through my windshield with my mobile phone.  Yes, I took these with the camera on my mobile phone.  I’m amazed that they turned out so well.

Rick and Amanda

I met Rick and Amanda at Fat Daddyz… quite awhile ago.  I forget that most people that go there know who I am, and they always say hi… but I tend not to know them.  It’s an odd sort of deal.  Anyway… I was there the same night that I took photos of Rachael (as you can see by the last photo in the session), and couldn’t help but snap a quick shot of these two.  I hope to do their family portraits, and help do some work for Rick with the tattoos that he’s done.  Should be fun!

Rachael and Zac, 05/23/08

I met Rachael in January of 2007, and met her man, Zac, the following month.  Rachael is one of my closest friends, and she’s one of those honest types who loves to have a good time.  She and Zac have been together for several years, and as a gift to them for Christmas, I told them that I’d do a couple photo shoots with them so that their families would have some nice photos of them.  Here are the best ones from the shoot, and we’ll be doing another one sometime in the future!

Went downtown for a photo shoot with a couple of friends, Rachael and Zac (who you’ll see in another post), and found some great things to take photos of to play around.  A couple of them were taken in the El Dorado Hotel & Casino.  I think they turned out great!
